The last we saw our party, they were securing Goblin and demonic prisoners, to return to Sylo. With provisions low, and several wounded party members, Mabe, Martin, Emil and Fugly along with their Elvish companion Grimly herded their captives towards the closest safe refuge.
When the party arrived in Sylo, Elvish guards took into custody the captives, and lead the party to some accommodations in the Elvish tree town. After a visit from the local Good Earth priest Rhivella, and a good nights rest, the Party was ushered to meet with Yysod, the master of the Elvish community.
The party was thanked for their clearing of the goblins, and asked for more information about their adventure, Mabe offered over the mysterious ring to Yzyod, and all the information he could think to add. After a short rest and a little study Yyzod assured that the ring was of dubious nature and best left alone, the demon was dispatched and the Goblins were interrogated. We learned that the goblins were instructed to seek Law’s End by someone with intimate knowledge of the area. Someone in Stonehell Dungeon!
Yyzod requested that we seek out that someone, and also that he still had some interest in Law’s End too.
The party was charged with seeking out either or both that unknown informant in Stonehell or to return to Law’s End and recover the crown of Rhivum, believed to have been left in the ruins of Law’s End.
After a short deliberation, The party agreed to return to Law’s End and help resolve the loss of this grieving father. Grimly moved by their choice offered his services in aid of their noble mission, along the other Elves Ordo, Sael and Modi.
The next morning the Party of Mab, Martin, Emil, Fugly, Grimly and crew set forth for Law’s End. On their second night of travel, their camp was attacked by a small wing of stirges. The members on guard were swarmed in the middle of the night a couple of them struck by the winged scourges and As Mabe was picking some from the sky with his Spear, Emil and an Elf had fallen unconscious. Martin managed to put the remaining stirges to sleep with his spell.
Though everyone in the party survived, several members were hurt pretty bad, and Mabe suggested that they head back to Sylo to seek Rhivella’s comforts for a night or two.
After returning to Sylo for a couple nights, the party was well enough to head out again, this time they made it to Nuromen’s Maze unmolested. While camping a final night outside, they noticed someone watching them, but when they turned to see, it had vanished.
The next morning they decided it would be best to stick together as best as they can, and entered the maze. retracing their steps they started to explore the area. The found several doors yet breached, an illusion of a madman in the prison cell, and armory of rusted weapons and armor. When they continued past the armory, they entered a barracks that had several skeletal remains. Mabe requested that all the remains be smashed, as a precaution. As the party made their way to the end of the barracks they could barely hear the faint rolling of dice, and they turned and saw a table with some skeletons seated around it. As the party advanced they spread out and equipped their range weapons. After a volley and a short melee, the skeletons were dispatched and quality shield was recovered. Mabe offered to cast lots for the shield with Fugly, who then agreed and then won the shield.
